I've started many of my own websites. But this is the first time I think I may have found a system I can keep, add on to, and experiment with, while still keeping the important information intact.
The nature of internet and web technology changes so often, that updates are sometimes difficult, break things, etc... and the danger of not updating often results in unreleting security problems.
The beauty of Gridsome is that I can keep most of the site static, and only certain necessary pieces can be dynamic, and potentially open to security flaws. Most of this website is, however, in a more static form, which allows for aldorr.net to be virtually unhackable. ;-)
